Anthony Michell has a Cambridge PhD in Economic Development and first came to South Korea in 1978 and worked for the Economic Planning Board, then the World Bank and other international agencies. From 2021 to 2024, he was team leader of the EU-Korea Policy Dialogue Support Facility directing a wide range of EU and Korea related research. From 1999 to 2024, he was a visiting professor at KDI School of Public Policy and Management.
