South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun and Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo held the inaugural ROK-Netherlands 2+2 Foreign and Industry High-Level Dialogue in Seoul on Wednesday with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Aukje de Vries, the foreign ministry said. The format was agreed during the Dutch state visit to South Korea in Dec. 2023.

The ministers discussed cooperation in economic security, semiconductors, critical raw materials, artificial intelligence in the military domain, cybersecurity and supply-chain monitoring, and adopted a joint statementoutlining areas for deeper coordination. Both sides agreed to hold the next 2+2
