The headline figure includes $14.6 billion (20.2 trillion won) in new spending and $7.5 billion (10.3 trillion won) in revenue adjustments to reflect a shortfall in tax collections. Citizens will receive between $108 (150,000 won) and $362 (500,000 won) in “consumption coupons” depending on income level, while $1.9 billion (2.7 trillion won) is earmarked for construction projects and $2.9 billion (4 trillion won) for distressed debt relief.
