Third-quarter revenue passed 100 trillion won for the first time, and the operating margin reached 80%. The company said demand for memory would outstrip supply through 2030, citing the difficulty of advanced chipmaking and the long time it takes to build new plants. SK hynix also said it would return about $75 billion (100 trillion won) to shareholders this year, roughly seven times last year’s total.
