The Foreign Ministry gave no timetable for the ambassador’s return but said it hoped outstanding bilateral issues would be resolved amicably and would continue consultations with Kyiv. The dispute began after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the transfer during his Sept. 23 U.N. General Assembly address.
