The minimum deposit will rise from $6,760 (10 million won), which could include eligible securities, to around $20,300 (30 million won) in cash, while the minimum trading unit will increase from one share to 20. The new cash requirement will apply to both domestically and overseas-listed products, while stocks, bonds and other securities will no longer count toward the threshold.
