For January, the ministry will issue about $97.5 million (140 billion won) across 5-, 10- and 20-year maturities, with effective annual returns reaching up to 7.3% for the longest-dated tranche. The 2026 goal represents a significant increase from this year’s $835.6 million (1.2 trillion won) issuance total, which fell about $69.6 million (100 billion won) short of its original target. To stimulate participation, MOEF is introducing a 3-year maturity © Korea Risk Group. All rights reserved. |
