For professionals involved with South Korea, whether in Seoul or beyond, and working in fields such as foreign policy, business, social issues, or the environment, legislative decisions can significantly impact their work.
Understanding which parliamentary committee members they need to connect with is essential, especially when seeking answers that other ROK authorities may not readily provide. Lawmaker offices and committees oversee ministries and have the authority to demand answers.
In addition, many critical discussions within political, business and diplomatic circles occur behind the scenes and are not publicly disclosed. However, relevant committee lawmakers and their staff are frequently privy to this information.
To facilitate easier access to South Korea’s lawmakers and parliamentary committees, Korea Pro provides an aggregated list of the 22nd National Assembly’s nineteen standing committee chairpersons and secretariats, including their party affiliations and contact information.
