South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on Sunday the resumption of the ROK-Japan High-Level Transportation Cooperation Conference after an eight-year hiatus. Scheduled for Feb. 20 in Seoul, this session aims to foster dialogue on major transportation policies, including advancements in autonomous vehicles, logistics and eco-friendly transport initiatives.
The conference will cover topics such as regional and rural transportation services, the commercialization of fully autonomous driving by 2027 and strategies for carbon neutrality in transportation. Both countries will share visions for logistics policy directions and explore development strategies for mutual transportation issues.
