Commander Jihoon Yu is a research fellow at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses. He was a member of the ROK Navy’s task force on the CVX light aircraft carrier project and also was a professor of military strategy at the ROK Naval Academy. He received a MA in National Security Affairs from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
