Support rate for ROK president bottoms out in 20s and looks likely to stay there due to strong disapproval among public
After free-falling for weeks, Yoon Suk-yeol’s approval rate may have finally hit bottom.
Last week started out with controversy, as Yoon snubbed Nancy Pelosi during her visit to Korea, and ended in tragedy, with 16 confirmed dead or missing in flooding that hit Seoul. And yet, Yoon’s approval rate remained steady at 25% in Gallup Korea polling, virtually unchanged from 24% last week.
