Together, they explored the limitations of conventional Washington-centric perspectives \u2014 often referred to as \u201cthe Washington blob\u201d \u2014 in analyzing Korean Peninsula issues. They discussed how geographical distance, institutional biases and regional complexities influence and sometimes distort global perceptions of South and North Korea.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
