She is the author of the Week Ahead newsletter and co-host of the Korea Pro Podcast.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Jeongmin Kim is a Seoul-based journalist who serves as Editorial Director at\u00a0KOREA PRO<\/em>\u00a0and Lead Correspondent at\u00a0NK News,<\/em>\u00a0both divisions of Korea Risk Group. Specializing in military, political, and foreign affairs concerning both Koreas, Kim covers government news and analysis and liaises with the ROK Presidential Office as well as the foreign, defense, and unification ministries.<\/p>\n She reported on South Korea\u2019s 2024 General Elections and the 2022 Presidential Election on the ground and frequently moderates Korea Risk Group briefings, as well as external events such as the Korea Economic Institute\u2019s 2023 debate on South Korea\u2019s nuclear armament. With a career that spans Washington D.C. and Seoul, Kim has previously worked at the Korea Chair of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and\u00a0Reuters<\/em>\u2018 Seoul bureau, covering major events on the Korean Peninsula, including summits, COVID-19 and ROK elections. S<\/p>\n She regularly appears in international media outlets such as BBC, CNN, ABC Australia and DW, and her bylines have appeared in publications such as Foreign Policy<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Asia Society Magazine<\/em>, focusing on South Korean socio-economic issues.
