Initial emergency assistance has been followed by plans for constructing temporary shelters in the Antakya region in partnership with the private sector. The meeting also included a tour of key facilities such as the Earthquake Monitoring Center and deliberations on South Korea’s current assistance and future collaboration plans. This support includes a pledge of over $10 million for building shelters for survivors and dispatching a disaster relief team.
