The typhoon, currently east-northeast of Okinawa, is set to progress north, making landfall near Busan on Thursday evening. After passing the southeastern coast, Khanun will likely advance northward across the Korean Peninsula, with wind speeds predicted to exceed 33 miles (54 kilometers) per hour throughout South Korea.
